Through lessons so far, I have been visibly improving. You can see my legs more activated, my wrist usage is getting better, and my tempo seems to be falling into place. I don’t always “put it all together”. But it’s chipping away at the bad habits that I have and getting things corrected, which is progress.
I can hear the difference in the sound the ball makes when I hit it. Not all the time but enough of the time to know that I am hitting the ball cleaner and better.
In this last lesson, things really began to come together; it wasn’t that everything came together. But it was that I properly grasped the weight transfer. It was like a lightbulb going off in my head about how to properly transfer weight and the beginning of my downswing and getting my hands to sync up with my lower body.
I’m also visibly rotating better which is generating more distance between the club and the ball which in turn generates more power when I swing.
Positive progress is nice to feel.
