I talked about setting goals last month and broke them down into trackable metrics. My goal was to complete these smaller goals so that in the larger picture I get the improvement I want.
To be blunt this first month was an abject failure.
There was a COVID outbreak at my kid’s school and that caused an atomic bomb to hit my schedule and washed away any type of planning. It got to the point where it was just about getting through the day trying to balance parenting and work. In the end, I had to choose what I wanted to prioritize between workouts/training/practice, and I went with practice. It was the only metric I hit this month.
However, I am going to allow myself some grace and hit the reset button, and start tracking from the first of this month.
