So my second month of this official project and I ran into a few hiccups. Mostly centered around moving, I basically lost over a week to packing/moving/unpacking but the habits since the move have been really solid. Over that time I also bent my ankle in a way that it wasn’t supposed to be bent in a collision playing hockey. That limited what I could do for a week and I’m still dealing with it.
Even with the chaos of moving and being a little banged up, I have seen progress across the board.
Additionally, I have signed up for a gym, I was using my townhouse gym which had limited equipment. The biggest addition to this project is I have a hitting net in my garage now which is going to let me get in more swings per week.
Starting HDCP: 21 End HDCP: 21
Posting season has officially started here in Oregon. Interested to see what happens here. I have a feeling I see a 3-4 stroke drop quickly although my first few rounds could be pretty tough
Start Weight: 229.8 End Weight: 223.8
In the leadup to the move, I got sloppy with my diet since my move it’s been very good. I expect a pretty big drop next month.
Off course training: 6 out of 12 workouts
This is what suffered the most this month. I’m confident this will get back on track.
Miles walked: 46.3 out of 60 miles.
Walking while at work was a major focus and I think I put a pretty good dent into the goal here, when accounting for the lost week I would have been at or over my goal.
Hours practicing: x out of 28 hours
I didn’t track hours, I did do something golf-related 14 out of the 28 days in February, not including a lot of at-home swing practice. I might need a different metric to track here.
This Month: So it’s posting season and my first couple of rounds are going to be a doozy
-Willamette Valley Country Club for a North West Golf Guys Tournament
-Bar Run
-Old Macdonald North West Golf Guys Trip
-Pacific Dunes North West Golf Guys Trip
-Bandon Dunes North West Golf Guys Trip
-Sheep Ranch North West Golf Guys Trip
Also, I feel like this is the first month I can completely establish solid habits and get a routine down. I’m feeling really positive about it and am excited to see the results.
